    Excessive Engine Oil Consumption

As part of their regular operation, vehicle engines consume a certain amount of oil. But how can you determine how much is too much?

Look for the following signs to see whether your engine is consuming too much oil:

You see oil stains or a puddle of fresh oil where you park

You see blue-gray smoke coming out of your tailpipe

You may hear unusual noises coming from the engine

You have to add one quart or more of oil every 3000 miles

You feel a greasy layer inside the exhaust pipe

All these signs indicate that your engine has faced severe internal wear. Now, what you can do is get your vehicle serviced by companies like Central Trading Company, and if you haven’t already, switch to premium grade oil such as Castrol.
